Guitar Tone

I am listening to some Zappa right now and his guitar tone is just unreal. I am not talking about his playing, but the way the notes sound when they come out his guitar. Few guitar players have it. Neil Young is another guy. His tone is so distinct and mesmerizing. What are some other guitar players that have an identifying tone? Hendrix? Van Halen? Tone is different than playing style. Is every politician a cheater, thief and pervert? What the hell? Talk about letting their power go to their heads (Both of them! Hey-o!). All those morons in Albany should just fight each to the death to be able to leave that building. If they are just going to do nothing while they're in there, they might as well make it interesting?

Madoff should go to jail for the rest of his life and he should have no money left to his name. His family should have nothing. You're telling me they don't know  anything about what he did to those people? Give me a break. If he only gets 12 years that is a joke.

Let's hope the Knicks keep Lee & Robinson, get Stephen Curry and maybe one or two other quality players tonight. I hope at least one of these guys is in a Knicks uniform come July 1st.

I just do not understand this fucking place?

Ever notice people at Starbucks or wherever who are trying really, really hard to read something, but have sunglasses on? Don't you want to smack them in the back of the head and say "Take off your sunglasses when you're inside, you jackass!" I do.

Sammy Sosa took steroids? Come on. No way! Love how these reports come out 6 years later. Is there anyone in MLB who hasn't taken steroids and actually can hit home runs? That's why I liked guys like Dan Pasqua and Mike Pagliarulo.

That whole Sarah Palin vs. David Lettermen thing is so stupid. He made a joke (albeit a bad one), he apologized, get over it. She should focus her time somewhere else. All of a sudden she is very very touchy and protective of her family. When she went on SNL and was mocking herself and getting publicity that was different I guess? Now people have gone too far? Give me a break lady.

Whenever I go to Blockbuster now to rent movies I hear that 'movie preview guy' voice in my head. It doesn't matter what movie I am looking at I read the overview in 'movie preview guy' voice.

Best Moment Ever

I saw some of the MTV Movie awards last night and when Bruno fell on top of Eminem and then he flipped out, that was hysterical! Whether it was staged or not is up for debate. I think MTV knew where to drop Bruno, but Eminem didn't seem too happy when it did happen. So who knows? But regardless, seeing Eminem walk away all pissed off was priceless. He is one of those guys that makes fun of everyone, but if you mess with him he gets all angry. Good job MTV. You finally got something right.
